Art in Bay Ridge: Sheltered Past Opening Night

Posted on Sep 16, 2015

The most recent exhibition of Stand, Sheltered Past, included 25 artists and took place in a historic Bay Ridge Carriage House at 218 Bay Ridge Avenue. Not only was the art created by artists with the inspiration to “consider a memory, an image, an object from the past and how and why it continues to live” but the venue itself manifested the same palpable quality, giving the show and space the feeling of art instillation embodying an eternal past.
